Social enterprise is fast developing as one of Energize' core delivery areas for schools and youth groups.
Below are details of our programmes that celebrate the successes over the past 18 months and give viewers a taste of what is possible in their school or youth group.

We are extremely grateful to Bedfordshire Police Authority who have financially supported the project to enable this equipment to be placed in these groups.
As part of our Social Enterprise Workshops we ask young people to provide a consultancy service to charities and social enterprises to help them solve issues and problems in a creative way. So far we have worked with:
Herts Practical Parenting Project: Ideas that will help young people, teachers and parents to interact positively.
Felixstowe Radio: Creation of speech content ideas for the station's output.
Testimonial:
We were very pleased to receive the CD, and we were very impressed by the quality of the suggestions made by the five team members - and we will use most of the suggestions when we go live - which will now be as www.radiofish.co.uk streaming through seven Internet sites, each covering a town in East Suffolk. Your project shows how radio can be used to motivate young people, and how it can develop several skills.
Your teams had to look at our embryo site, then go to other radio stations. They clearly discussed the options available, and then recorded the discussions. For an early attempt at broadcasting - which is what it was - they are all to be congratulated. They all sounded interested, knew their subjects, knew what they wanted to say - and should think about creating their own podcasts, if not radio stations.
